Saturday 25th of June was Armed Forces day in Diss and so the Branch along with the Royal British Legion, Army cadets and David Hines ( a military enthusiast and collector ) set up in the Market place early in the morning.
This was to be the first outing for our new branch gazebo which has already proven to be a worthwhile investment, providing us with a much more professional looking arrangement.
A steady day saw many visitors to the stand, including the mayor, and altogether we managed to raise around £230 for the Wings Appeal.
Many thanks to all who were able to help.
